Four-piece alt rock band based in London, writing songs that wear different coats. Some kiss your cheek, others steal your shoes. Piano up front. Guitars chiming like loose change.
Driving rhythms and sassy bass grooves. Harmonies with clean shirts. Lyrics with grass stains. They keep company with ghosts of ‘60s basements and seaside jukeboxes.
A little barroom smoke. They mean it mostly. Romantic. Absurd. Fully aware.
Handsome Waitress are a London-based alternative band and purveyors of fresh denim. Inspired by bands that used to be, and some that still are. Handsome Waitress formed in 2023, and have been performing across London ever since. Their first EP, ‘Smoke Signals from the Kitchen’, was released in July 2024.
The Home Service are a rock/roll band from South East London formed in the underbelly of the Goldsmiths University music block. Since 2021, they have been consistently sharing the gift of wonk-rock with anyone who will listen.
